[Ushio turns on the video to show a Swablu an egg sitting on her lap. She looks very happy, which is par for the course. This is her first Christmas after all.]

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Mr. Harvey, the egg hatched. I've named her Aoi.

[As if on cue, the Swablu flutters up and perches on her head.]

I found another egg when I woke up this morning. I wonder what it is.

[Anyone knowledgeable about eggs can probably tell it's a Ralts egg.]

Yeah, it was just laying next to me when I woke up.

We'll have to ask. I wonder where they got them though. I got Aoi's egg from Mr. Harvey last week.

People can have jobs here as Pokemon breeders, too. It would make sense if a lot of them got to sell eggs for Christmas presents.

How do I tell?

By pointing the Pokégear at her, you can see what attacks she knows.

Peck, Growl, Agility, Dragon Rush, Safeguard, Roost, Return, Ice Beam, and Mud Slap?

...That's a lot more than the last batch knew. She'll have no trouble keeping you safe, at least.

Yes, it is. And with Roost, she'll be able to heal herself, too.

It sounds like I should learn what all these attacks do.

It would help you much on your journey. Certain attacks have effects that can help you even outside of battles.

And by knowing what they do, you lessen the risk of accidentally setting your bag on fire.

Did that happen to you?

My bag caught on fire once and I've had trouble with certain surprising attacks before, but luckily the cases were unrelated.

At least you're alright.

I am now. The nurses take good care of us, whenever we find ourselves injured.

Hopefully my group will remain accident and injury free.

None that are mentioned in the guide, at least, and I'm somewhat wary of trying those that are not.
