[A very young looking girl bundled up in winter clothing manages to turn on the video function of the pokégear, both her and a Golett looking at it curiously from either side.]

I think it's on.

[She pauses for a moment before speaking again. The Golett makes a curious sound and turns to look at her.]

There's so many people here. And animals too.

It's nice.

[She smiles a bit at the screen. She's obviously at least somewhat pleased by this turn of events.]

Could anyone tell me a bit more about this place?

You're in a place called Johto! It's a region, I think it's an island? In this world. I'm not really sure what the world is called.

Anyways, they have these really cute animals-! [ She turns the feed to her Zubat, Woobat and Sunkern. The woobat seems to be holding Sunkern down as it chirps, in a somewhat panicked tone. ] They're called pokémon and you're sent here to raise them and do something with them that involves teeth! [ ....Her theories for team rocket are unusual, to say the least. ]

...you have to make them fight?

Yep! They are cute! And you are supposed to make them battle, but, I don't think it's necessary. You can do just fine without battling. My pokémon want to get stronger with me, so I'm willing to foster them and battle with them! You can also breed them and do other things, too!

They shouldn't have to fight to get stronger, right?

Well, that's just how they work. They gain experience through fighting and somehow unlock new techniques...

At least if they get injured, they're usually instantly healed in the pokémon center.

I see. So there really isn't much of a choice.

I think I'll let them decide whether they want to fight or not.

Yeah. You can do a bunch without training them though, so don't fear if they don't like fighting!

I think I want to see the world with them. There's so many new things out there.

There are! Everything is so breathtaking and beautiful. I still haven't done everything possible in the city, and I've been here for about two months now! I'll be leaving shortly, though, to pick up something of a friend at that New Bark Town! [ She giggles as Sunkern happily chirps. ]

New Bark Town is nice. I'm staying here until the storm is over.

A lot of people start out in New Bark Town, but I didn't for some reason. [ o well. ] I'll be there in Cherrygrove, though, so I can pick up a friend! It's the next town over, and I heard it has a small, relaxing feel while also supplying the necessities. If you need someone to travel with, I'm sure you can tag along with us!

Oh, no worries! We can still be friends and hang out and do those things even if we aren't traveling partners! I'm a bit nervous to be leading a group all by myself, but, I know I can do it, otherwise Captain Aizen wouldn't have made me his vice-lieutenant!

When you phrase like that, yeah. [ She nervously stutters and giggles around the first part of the exchange. ] It means if Captain Aizen is injured or far away, I'm in charge of the squad! It means I have an entire team of guys I have to protect and lead!

That sounds like a tough job.

Not really! Captain Aizen is rarely away for long and most of my team is safe in the confines of the Soul Society! It's all really peaceful! [ ...Too bad that's going to change when she goes home. ]

It is! What's your world like!? [ She's curious! ]

Lonely. No one else exists, only me.

[ Have you ever played Animal crossing? You know that emotion where they leap back and flash their hands above their head in disbelief? No? Well, either way, that's what Momo's doing right now. ]

W-what?! No one else but you?! That's terrible!

I guess it was, now that I think about it.

I'm here now, though. That's what matters.

Wait. I'm confused! How were you the only person left in the world? I mean, you have to had come from somewhere right...? [ She almost makes a remark about parents, but then realizes that she probably had some and it'd be insulting to ask something like that. ]

[alonelyworld]

I...don't know.

[Even if Momo had asked about parents, she'd get the same answers. She has no memories of family, of other people.]

Maybe there never was anyone else.

How can there never be anyone else? What's the earliest thing you remember?! [ ....What... No parents? How was she born? Created? How come she's the only girl in the world. ]
