[A very young looking girl bundled up in winter clothing manages to turn on the video function of the pokégear, both her and a Golett looking at it curiously from either side.]

I think it's on.

[She pauses for a moment before speaking again. The Golett makes a curious sound and turns to look at her.]

There's so many people here. And animals too.

It's nice.

[She smiles a bit at the screen. She's obviously at least somewhat pleased by this turn of events.]

Could anyone tell me a bit more about this place?

[Look at that robot thing! Laguna gives it a look, his Snivy giving it more of a look. But Laguna kneels down a bit, getting on her level.]
My name's Laguna, alright? You don't need to be lonely any more.

[She smiles at him and holds a hand out to his Snivy.]

I'm Ushio. It's okay, I'm not truly alone.

[Her Golett looks up at her and does a headtilt.]

I already have a friend. He's almost like the friend I had in my world.

[Snivy eyes her - and lets out a vine. You're not touching his hands, child.
Was she friends with a robot? That's strange.]
Well - as long as we're here, we can make plenty of new friends. How about you stick with me?

[She tilts her head at the Snivy.]

I...I'd really like that. Okay!

[She holds up the Golett's hand. She's pick him up, if it didn't outweigh her like 3x over.]

[The Golett just seems to stare up at him curiously.]

I'm sure he'll get used to you eventually.

Exactly! [Laguna said, with a laugh. And then he remembered - ] oh yeah! I've got some other guys travelling with me. It'll be a nice group!

Yeah. One's another guy called Tonio, and there's also another little girl called Clementine. I'm sure you'll become friends.
