9th Light [Video]

[The video feed turns on to show a magnificent view of the sea. And the back of a Lapras's head. For once, there doesn't seem to be any sign of her Golurk. She swivels the feed around to show a complete 360 degree view, before turning it to face herself. She seems to be in a much better mood than the last time she appeared on camera.]

The sea is so beautiful isn't it? This is my first time I've actually seen it for myself.

I've still got another day before I reach Cianwood City. Hopefully the weather stays clear. Is there anyone else in that area?

I think Reprise would, too. She hasn't met many other Lapras and I worry if that'll have a negative effect on her...

They're fairly rare, I think. So it'll be good for them to meet.

Some of my other pokémon haven't seen others of their own kind either. If it bothers them, they haven't shown it.

Then maybe I'm just overthinking things. Not all other Pokemon are as rare...but you're right; Reprise hasn't shown any negative effects. In fact, she's one of my happiest Pokemon.

(Let's just disregard the whole "a happy face to hide the tears" possibility thingy.)

Does yours love singing, too? Mine certainly does...she has a wonderful voice.

Mm. All of my pokémon seem to be very happy.

Sometimes! She sounds so...mysterious and elegant. It really is wonderful.

I think that's the best way to describe their singing. It's as if their songs are always from the heart. It takes incredible talent to translate that much emotion into song...

...There really is a lot we can learn from Pokemon, isn't there?

It does. It helps me sleep sometimes too.

I guess so. Each one is different, at least in their own way. I just wish it was easier to understand them sometimes.
